Cachoeira Rio do Meio

Cachoeira Rio do Meio is a beautiful waterfall near the towns of Mangaraí and Socorro in Brazil. Its name is translated to "Middle River Waterfall". The waterfall's power cascades down a large rock wall, creating mist and spectacular rainbows when the sun is bright. This natural wonder is reached via a 15 minute drive from Mangaraí, or a more adventurous and beautiful path from the nearby village of Socorro. With magnificent views, it is easy to forget that one is quite close to civilization while exploring this nature reserve. Visitors will find a narrow walkway along the rim of the waterfall that leads to a stairway and a platform at the very end, offering breathtaking views of the cascade.
