Cachoeira do Bravin

Cachoeira do Bravin is one of the most breathtaking natural wonders you can find in Todos os Santos, Brazil. With its steep granite walls, deep blue pools, and glistening waterfalls, this waterfall offers a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty and power of nature.

The highest fall, of around 150 meters, is surrounded by thick vegetation and can be admired from multiple observation points, from one of the various trails that branch from it. The other two waterfalls, lower, offer a calmer atmosphere. The pools at the end of the falls are perfect for taking a swim on a hot day. If you visit this area, don’t forget to check out the traditional Cachoeira do Bravin Hydroelectric Plant, built in 1915. With its turbines and its neo-gothic architecture, it stands out as an interesting example of early 20th century engineering. The nearby town Todos os Santos also has plenty of attractions, such as the natural pools, the old churches, and many restaurants. There are also some great hiking routes in the nature reserve surrounding Cachoeira do Bravin, so you can explore and get closer to the falls.
