Arco De Córdoba

The 16th century Arco de Córdoba is located in the center of the vibrant city of Córdoba, Argentina. The structure, which is complete with two side towers and an entrance stairway, is the gateway to the Santo Domingo de Guzman Chu religion complex and the original Plaza de Armas which was established in the late 1700s. The monument is both beautiful and historically significant and is a must-stop for visitors to Córdoba. The arch is the only remaining gate within the old wall of the city and was declared a heritage site in 1979. Today, the Arco de Córdoba houses the Córdoba Museo Histórico, where visitors can explore the city’s history. Surrounding the arch are gorgeous cobblestone streets lined with traditional Spanish colonial buildings and homes.
