Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is one of Italy's most picturesque stretches of coastline. Located in the Campania region, the dramatic cliffs and seascapes of the Amalfi Coast offer a breathtaking experience and spectacular views of the country. Amalfi itself is a small village, wrapped around the famous 12th-century Amalfi Cathedral, with its lovely piazzas, terraced vineyards, and cliffside restaurants overlooking the Mediterranean. Moving up the coast, you can explore the 13th-century Castello dell’Ovo and the colorful gardens of Villa Cimbrone. The well-preserved ruins of the Greek city of Paestum are also nearby. The islands of Li Galli, often known from the legend of The Ugly Duckling, sit just off the coast, while the Sorrento peninsula is nearby.
