Zuiderkerk is a monumental church located in the Zuideramstel district of Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was built in 1603 and was the first Protestant church in Amsterdam. The church is built in the Dutch Renaissance style, with a long rectangular main hall and its accompanying tower. Inside the church, visitors can find various works of art, such as the famous stained glass windows, a pulpit, and various statues. Zuiderkerk is a very popular destination for photography and visitors alike. The church is situated right on the Prinsengracht, making for beautiful reflections in the canal waters.
