Zhengyangmen Gate House, also known as Qianmen Gate, is one of the oldest and best-preserved gate houses in Beijing, China. Built in 1419 during the Ming Dynasty, the gate house is 264 meters long and 10 meters tall and located in Xi Cheng Qu. It was the main entrance to the inner part of the city and was designed with a deep moat and a drawbridge that was raised each night for added security.

Today, the gate house serves as a tourist attraction and is a popular spot for taking photographs. Visitors can explore the restored halls, watchtowers, and arched gateways and take in the ancient views of the city or watch traditional Chinese performances. The area surrounding the Gate House is also a popular destination for visitors who want to explore the local shops and restaurants for authentic Beijing cuisine.
