Yeni Yasamal is a district in Bakı, the capital of Azerbaijan. It is a bustling area of the city, with tall apartment blocks, malls and cafes. The area is especially known for its Martyrs' Lane memorial, also known as 'Shahidlar Xiyabani'. It is a long avenue lined with fir trees, and features sculptures and a museum dedicated to those who died in the Nagorno-Karabakh War. It is a very solemn, yet beautiful spot to visit.
