The WWII US Navy LCM Ship Wreck is an incredible site situated in Fjordhur, Iceland. This wreck is a cargo vessel sunk in 1942, and is an astonishing sight to behold. The craft is lying on its side and its immense size is visible even at a distance. Visibility at this wreck is excellent, and you can still see the No. 4 ramp open which was used to disembark cargo. This is a haven for photographers and will offer incredible angles and perspectives to capture images. It is a great place to observe fish as they appear to be playing in the frames of the wreck. Divers can also explore inside the wreck, with nooks and crannies to discover. The diverse aquatic life creates an excellent photo opportunities for the adventurous diver. An exciting yet dangerous dive indeed!
