📍 From North Pool, United States
The World Trade Center Memorial is a tribute to those who were lost during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Located in Lower Manhattan within the footprints of the original Twin Towers, the Memorial features a pair of large reflecting pools—each about an acre in size—amongst a beautiful park setting. As you approach the site you will be able to take in the names of those who perished as part of the attacks inscribed into bronze parapets highlighting the pools. Visitors are encouraged to explore this solemn and heartfelt tribute to those who lost loved ones that day. The Memorial site also features the Survivor Tree and a new 9/11 Museum.
