📍 From Boardwalk / Overland Track, Australia
The Wooden Bridge over Ronny Creek is one of the most picturesque spots in Cradle Mountain, Australia. It's a single-plank walkway featured in many postcards, and spans a picturesque mountain stream high in the Tasmanian alpine region. The bridge provides access to all of the trails at Cradle Mountain National Park, allowing visitors to explore its expansive expanse of spectacularly dramatic mountain scenery, wild rivers, and pristine lakes. Its isolated location gives walkers and photographers a sense of pure nature and offers views of soaring peaks and sprawling valleys, with Ronny Creek carving its way between them. Visitors might even encounter wombats and little pademelon wallabies along the way. Climbing up to Dove Lake, or traversing the Labyrinth from the bridge, make for great adventures. After a long day of trekking in the mountains, visitors can rest and enjoy the peak views from the bridge before heading back.
