Wolfgangsee is a beautiful lake located in Fürberg, in the Austrian state of Salzburg. It covers an area of over 5.5 kilometers and is located in the Salzburg lake district. The lake's most famous landmark is the iconic Schafbergbahn, a stunning steam railway that takes visitors up the side of Mount Schafberg into the stunning alpine countryside above. The lake itself is popular for swimming, boating and a range of other water activities.
