Winnats Pass is a breathtaking limestone gorge in England's Peak District National Park. Located near the village of Castleton, this particularly picturesque area has been featured in several films and TV shows. With cliffs reaching heights of up to 80 metres, coming down to a narrow valley floor and a 60 metre wide clough, Winnats Pass is a must-see sight. As you walk the footpaths on either side of the gorge you'll get a spectacular view along the entire length of the gorge. Depending on the times of year a variety of wildlife can be spotted in the area including wild ponies and deer. Its also great for a bit of rock climbing if you fancy it!
