📍 From East River Promenade, United States
The Williamsburg Bridge is a historic suspension bridge crossing the East River connecting the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. It was the longest suspension bridge in the world when it was completed in 1903, and has become a major iconic landmark in the city. The bridge has two pedestrian walkways, separated by four traffic lanes, and is used for both auto and train traffic. A great view of the bridge can be seen from Dumbo in Brooklyn, where you can get a great view of the lower Manhattan skyline and the bridge itself. To get the best angle of the bridge from the Manhattan side, head to McCarren park in Brooklyn. Visiting the bridge is a must for any trip to New York!
