Williams Tower, also known as the Transco Tower, is a 64-story, 1044-foot skyscraper located in Houston, Texas. Completed in 1983, the building stands as the third-tallest building in Houston and the 23rd-tallest building in the United States. The structural design of the building was provided by J.E. Sirrine and is composed of two independent structures standing on a common podium. The black glass curtain wall of the building gives it a unique appearance, earning it the nickname "the Black Tower". The observation deck of the tower offers stunning views of the city skyline. It also holds the headquarters of the Gulf States Toyota, one of the largest privately held companies in the United States. The building is home to several restaurants, a fitness center, and a full-service business center.
