The Wiener Riesenrad is a stunning Ferris wheel, located in the famous Prater amusement park in Vienna, Austria. Built in 1897, it is one of the oldest surviving Ferris wheels in the world. At 65 meters (213 feet) tall, it is also one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the world and offers stunning views of the surrounding areas. You can glimpse the Prater, Donaukanal, Danube river, modern high-rise buildings, and a host of churches and monuments from the top of the wheel. You can purchase individual tickets or packages, which include the ride, dinner, and options for a private cabin. This unique sight is best seen during late evening or at night, when all the lights in the city come on, transforming the entire landscape and allowing you to experience Vienna at its best.
