
Westminster Bridge is a Grade II* listed bridge over the River Thames in London. It links Westminster on the north side and South Bank in Lambeth. The bridge has become a symbol of London, and is one of the oldest bridges in the British capital. The bridge is approximately 375 meters in length, and it is composed of five arches that span the Thames from Temple Gardens at the north bank to the County Hall complex. The bridge features eight stone angels, which contain the Victorian Latin inscription "Resurgam", meaning "I shall rise again". It was designed by Thomas Page and built by John Rennie. It is a popular spot for photographers, who come to capture the beautiful views of the Thames and the Houses of Parliament. It is a great destination for travelers wanting to see some of the iconic images of London.
