Westhoyer Windmühle is a windmill situated in Melle, Germany, and it is a fantastic sight. Built in 1845 by John Wilms, a Melle mill, from local timber, it has five sails with wingspan of around 25-30 meters. The mill is an important local landmark, and has been a noteworthy feature of the skyline for over 160 years. It stands at 43-meters high and it is open to visitors. Today, visitors can buy sacks of freshly ground flour. The old building and its sails have undergone to several preservation works and firmly stand tall. Westhoyer Windmühle is a very photogenic sight, and it is a memorable attraction, with a great historical value. Visitors that take a tour it can enjoy the experience of a lifetime, while taking on the many stairs to the top of the structure.
