Westensee

Westensee is a small lake in the Felde municipality in northern Germany. It has many natural attractions and things to do, such as walking and cycling along its banks and through the surrounding countryside. Visitors can also swim, fish, and go boating. There are plenty of open spots to simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, there are barbecue and picnic areas, perfect for a day out with friends or family. Nearby, there is an ice cream stand, and a number of popular cafés, restaurants and bars. In summer, it’s a great place to cool down, while in winter its snow-covered grounds and frozen lake create a beautiful winter wonderland. Nature lovers can also find a variety of wildlife here, from ducks and birds to wild rabbits and even deer.
