Wesołe Miasteczko is a former amusement park located in Pryp'yat', Ukraine. Founded in 1985, Wesołe Miasteczko was meant to be a destination for leisure and entertainment for the citizens of Pryp'yat'. Numerous rides, such as ferris wheel and bumper cars, were installed on the site, which were frequented by residents of the abandoned city. However, in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster, the city's fate was changed with the abandoned site of Wesołe Miasteczko becoming part of a restricted exclusion zone. Today the site is largely intact but remains abandoned, and only those with clearance are allowed to visit. Thanks to its unique, eerie atmosphere, the amusement park has become a popular destination for tourists and photographers looking to capture the beauty of abandoned Ukraine.
