Watt am Westend is an idyllic beach on the northern island of Spiekeroog in the Frisian Islands of Germany. Its western side is bordered by a large sandbank, a shallow lagoon and two small islands. Its western side is a popular viewing point by the locals, who take their boats out on calm summer days. The eastern side is more shallow and close to shore, so it's a perfect spot for swimming, fishing and beachcombing. Thanks to the presence of wild geese and waders, it's also a great spot for bird watchers. With crystal clear water and white beaches, this area has been used in many TV shows and music videos. Take a peaceful stroll along the beach or enjoy a sunset barbecue – the possibilities are endless.
