Watertoren de Esch Rotterdam is a prominent landmark in the city of Rotterdam. Built in 1885, it is one of the oldest and most interesting towers in the city. Located just outside of the city center, the tower stands atop an artificial hill, making it easily visible from a distance. It is an iconic image of the city and is often used as a symbol of Rotterdam. The design of the tower is stunning, featuring a baroque-style belfry and a bell decorated with 4 corners. Inside the building there is a magnificent spiral staircase and the walls are decorated with the famous Dutch tiles. Visitors can explore the structure and take in the beautiful view from the top. There are also a number of interesting exhibits and artworks by local Rotterdam artists on display in the entrance hall.
