The Walnut Street Bridge, situated in the city of Chattanooga, United States, is one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world, covering 850 feet of the Tennessee River. It is a Victorian-era bridge and is registered as a national historic landmark since 1982. It offers a spectacular scenic view of the Tennessee River, Lookout Mountain and the surrounding city scape. The bridge is alive with photographers, joggers, pedestrians and cyclists. At either end, you can find shops, stalls, restaurants, ice cream parlours, play areas and stunning night lights.
