Waldfriedhof LP is a beautiful cemetery located in the town of Halle, Germany. Its 15 hectares area includes a variety of graves, from those of World War II to modern. It boasts lots of architecturalbeauty, from simple upright headstones to imposing tombs in neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance styles. A cross-shaped gravestone of Hans Bardutzky, a legendary sailor from the 18th century, is also to be found here. One of the highlights of this cemetery is a tall monument dedicated to the fallen soldiers of WWI, which dominates the landscape.
