Wahkeena Falls is an idyllic waterfall situated in Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge. It is known for its wild, 233-foot cascades that are particularly splendid in spring and summer due to the abundance of water. The falls can be divided into two sections – Upper Wahkeena Falls (22’) and Lower Wahkeena Falls (211’). There are numerous trails and vantage points to explore around the falls that offer stunning panoramic views. Visitors can spot a variety of wildlife, including osprey, owls, deer, and elk. These trails also lead to other gorgeous hiking spots, such as Multnomah Falls and the fairytale-esque Larch Mountain. A visit to Wahkeena Falls is not to be missed!
