
Wadi Mujib Canyon is one of the most breathtaking natural phenomena in Jordan, located near Al Judayyidah. The canyon stretches for around 10 miles and is the lowest nature reserve in the world, with its lowest point standing at over 400m below sea level. The canyon features narrow, lush vegetation-lined gorges, serene pools and extensive trails for trekking, swimming, canyoning and whitewater rafting. Its gorges offer a wide variety of fauna, and its streams and pools provide a perfect habitat and refuge for local wildlife, including the Nubian ibex and the endangered Syrian wolf. Visitors to the canyon can explore its rugged beauty and nature reserves on a variety of guided tours, organized by experienced tour guides.
