The views from Monte Calamorro unfold above Benalmádena from one of the prominent heights of the Sierra de Mijas, reached by hiking trails or the cable car from Arroyo de la Miel. The panorama connects the dense coastal towns of the Costa del Sol with the Mediterranean, Málaga’s shoreline and the rugged Andalusian interior. On exceptionally clear days, the horizon can extend toward Gibraltar and the mountains of North Africa. Broad summit viewpoints emphasize the contrast between pale rock, dark mountain vegetation, white urban blocks and deep blue water, while winding paths and ridgelines provide strong foregrounds that convey the scale of the coast below.
