
The striking Violay Church is located in the picturesque town of Violay in the Loire Valley, France. Established in the 12th century and dedicated to Saint Lawrence, the church is a mix of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles. The facade of the building features sculptures depicting scenes from the bible while the interior is home to some beautiful stained glass windows and wall paintings. The most recognisable feature is the large clock tower topped with the striking bell tower, both dating from the 17th century. The church is a great cultural and architectural tourist spot in Violay and the Loire Valley.
