Villa Spada is an 18th-century villa set in a hillside park above Bologna’s Saragozza neighborhood. Its formal Italian garden uses terraces, stairways and clipped hedges to bring a sense of order to the slope, while the surrounding park feels much less structured. The garden’s symmetry gives the villa a distinctive setting; from higher paths, the view opens toward Bologna’s red-roofed cityscape.
