Villa Mazzacorati is an urban villa in Bologna, Italy. It sits on a hill slightly outside the city on the Viale Murri. It was created in the early 19th century by architect Giuseppe Poggi for Niccolò Mazzacorati. It is an eclectic mix of styles influenced by neoclassical, federalist, and neo-gothic architecture, all of which mix together to create an original and beautiful composition. There is a beautiful wooded park, lush gardens, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a grand staircase leading from the main entrance. It is a great place for a stroll, to admire the fine architecture, and to take in some of the surrounding views. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in Bologna.
