Villa del Balbianello

Villa del Balbianello is a picturesque villa located on the tip of the Lavedo Peninsula overlooking Lake Como in the commune of Lenno, Italy. It was originally built in the 1700s and is now owned by the National Trust of Italy. The villa is a popular destination for tourists as well as photographers, who come to take pictures of the spectacular views and wonderful architecture. Inside, there are several elegant salons, including some decorated with frescoes by well-known Italian artist Giuseppe Bazzani. The gardens, however, are the true highlight of the villa. With its beautiful flower beds, terraced lawns, and intricate topiary sculptures, the gardens provide hours of exploration for visitors. Visitors are welcome to explore the grounds and take pictures during the official visiting hours.
