The Villa Baruzziana is a 17th century Palazzo located in Bologna, Italy. Commissioned by the Baruzzi noble family, the flora present still resembles that of the gardened Italian Renaissance palazzo from the time of its creation. The Villa Baruzziana stands out for its decorative and well-preserved Mannerist fresco cycle, which is rumored to make a greater impact when seen under the light of the moon. The building is considered to be one of the best examples of the beautiful frescoes of the Mannerist period. The villa stands on the corner of Via Capo di Lucca and Via Cuma, surrounded by gardens and a beautiful view of the San Luca hill. The villa is privately owned but can be admired from outside.
