📍 Spain
Torreneules is a high mountain in the eastern Pyrenees, above Queralbs in Catalonia’s Ripollès region. Views from La Farga place its upper slopes beyond the wooded Freser valley, connecting the settled valley floor with the alpine landscape around Núria. The massif separates the Núria valley from the Coma de Vaca basin, giving it a geographical role as well as a recognizable place in the local skyline. Dark forest below, open grassland and exposed rock higher up, and seasonal snow along the ridges create distinct bands of texture and color.
