Vetteberget is the granite hill rising directly above Fjällbacka, a coastal village in Bohuslän on Sweden’s west coast. From its summit, the compact settlement unfolds between rock and sea: tiled roofs, white houses, red boathouses and a harbor framed by the low, weather-smoothed islands of the Fjällbacka archipelago. The broad view reveals how closely the village is fitted into the narrow shoreline beneath the cliffs, while the bare granite foreground adds texture and scale to photographs. A common route climbs through Kungsklyftan, the dramatic cleft splitting the rock, followed by steep steps and uneven terrain to the exposed viewpoint.
