Near Pajo in the Wangdue Phodrang area, the Trashigang–Semtokha Highway forms part of Bhutan’s main east–west road corridor, connecting the capital region with central and eastern districts. The surrounding landscape is shaped by the Puna Tsang Chhu valley, where cultivated land and settlements contrast with steep mountain slopes.
