Tai Hang Tun Viewing Point sits in Clear Water Bay Country Park, on the eastern side of the Clear Water Bay peninsula in Hong Kong’s Sai Kung District. The outlook takes in rocky coastal headlands, green hillsides and open sea, with the offshore Ninepin Group adding distinct island silhouettes to the distance. Overlapping slopes and an irregular shoreline give the view its depth, contrasting with the broad expanse of water beyond. This is Hong Kong’s coastal landscape rather than its harbour skyline: the recognizable elements are rugged landforms and scattered islands, not towers.
