Slab Rock is an exposed rocky viewpoint on the Mount Greville walking route near Moogerah, in Queensland’s Scenic Rim. From the broad stone ledge, the landscape opens across Lake Moogerah, the agricultural flats of the Fassifern Valley and the rugged peaks of Moogerah Peaks National Park. The pale slab creates a strong foreground against the reservoir’s blue curves and the layered ridgelines beyond, while changing light emphasizes the rock’s weathered texture. Reaching the viewpoint involves a steep, rugged bushwalk suited to experienced hikers.
