Seceda’s ridgeline rises above Val Gardena in South Tyrol, at the western end of the Odle (Geisler) group in the Dolomites. From the crest, grassy alpine slopes meet a steep, jagged rock face, making the ridge appear sharply cut against the sky. The Odle peaks recede along the horizon, while pale stone and green pasture create the contrast that makes this view so recognizable.
