Puntal dels Llops rises above Olocau on the southern edge of the Serra Calderona, overlooking the agricultural plain of Camp de Túria. This fortified Iberian settlement, established in the 5th century BCE, formed part of the territory controlled by Edeta, the ancient city at present-day Llíria. Its commanding position helped its inhabitants monitor routes and surrounding land, giving the panorama a historical purpose beyond the view itself. The remains of a defensive tower and rooms arranged along a central street reveal the settlement’s compact layout. In photographs, the low stone walls anchor the foreground against wooded slopes and the broad cultivated plain below.
