The Orti della Cattedrale are garden terraces beside Gubbio Cathedral, high on the slope of Monte Ingino above the medieval center. From here, the town’s steep urban form becomes clear: narrow lanes and terracotta roofs descend toward the Umbrian plain, while the pale stone mass and tower of Palazzo dei Consoli anchor the skyline. The viewpoint is especially distinctive for its layered composition of garden walls, tightly packed buildings, surrounding hills, and the broad valley beyond.
