📍 New Zealand
Mount Victoria Lookout crowns the ridge immediately east of central Wellington, offering a near-360-degree view over the capital and its dramatic coastal setting. From the summit, the compact CBD, waterfront, port and ferry routes spread around Wellington Harbour, while the airport runway, Miramar Peninsula, surrounding suburbs and Cook Strait reveal how tightly the city is shaped by hills and sea. The layered skyline, curving bays and moving ships provide strong visual scale; westward views place the city against the late-day light. The exposed lookout is also a vivid reminder of Wellington’s famously windy position at the strait.
