Morro do Lampião rises above the Campeche district on the southern half of Santa Catarina Island, opening a broad view across Florianópolis’ Atlantic coast. From its granite outcrops, the urban grid and green lowlands of Campeche lead toward the long beach, with Ilha do Campeche set offshore as the scene’s clearest landmark. Native Atlantic Forest frames the outlook, while dunes, lagoons, rooftops and ocean form distinct layers below. The exposed rock ledges emphasize the scale of the coastline and provide especially strong compositions when angled light brings out the relief of the hills and the shifting blue-green tones of the sea.
