📍 Canada
Elsje Point is a small waterfront promontory in Vanier Park, on the Kitsilano side of the entrance to False Creek. Its open position gathers several defining Vancouver elements into one panorama: downtown and West End towers across the water, the Burrard Bridge to the east, and the North Shore Mountains rising behind the city. Passing sailboats and other harbour traffic animate the foreground, while calm conditions create broken reflections beneath the skyline. Looking west, the shoreline opens toward English Bay, offering a broader composition of water, sky, and distant coast, especially as evening light warms the city’s glass façades.
