From Công viên hầm Thủ Thiêm, beside the eastern end of the Thủ Thiêm Tunnel, the Saigon River opens onto a broad view of District 1. The tunnel connects Thủ Thiêm with Ho Chi Minh City’s established center, while the river keeps the two banks visually distinct. Across the water, Bitexco Financial Tower’s tapering silhouette stands out among the high-rises; passing boats give the skyline a sense of scale. The view faces west, so at sunset the towers can become silhouettes against the light.
