Victoria Tower is Jersey's most iconic historical landmark. Built in 1834, it stands almost 60 meters high and is the tallest structure in Jersey. Located on the rugged cliff top of St. Aubin's Fort, it overlooks St. Catherine's Bay and is an impressive sight from the coastline. It was originally part of the sea defenses of Jersey and is a reminder of the island's past of defending against English and French invasions. Nowadays, it is a popular destination with tourists, who often come to take in the stunning views of the bay, which can be enjoyed from the Tower's summit. There are also stairs leading to a roof platform, which offers a wonderful vantage point for taking in the impressive views and basking in the sunshine.
