
The Victoria Tower stands in the heart of West Yorkshire, United Kingdom and is an impressive landmark visible from many parts of the city. It was built in 1883 as an observatory and is now part of the Wakefield Historic Cathedral. It stands at 94 feet tall built with a stone and terracotta structure. Visitors are allowed to climb to the top of the tower and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area from 30 metres up. It is open to the public from April to October, with guided tours available. Be sure to check out the four-faced clock and the carved sandstone gargoyles, for a unique and interesting experience.
