📍 From Mosteiro de São Bento, Brazil
Viaduto Santa Ifigênia is the name for a historic bridge in the Centro Histórico de São Paulo, Brazil. It was built in 1855 and is one of the oldest bridges in São Paulo. The bridge was originally built to carry the rail track from the south to the northern end of São Paulo city. The bridge is an impressive stone-arched structure located above an intersection of two broad streets, and as such commands great views of the downtown area below it. It is a popular spot for tourists and for photography, with the opportunity to take pictures of the vibrant downtown city from a unique angle. The bridge has been declared a historical monument and still holds great significance in the area's history.
