
The Vetta del Monte Amiata is a gorgeous peak located in the province of Tuscany, Italy. At 1,738m, it is the highest elevation on the entire Apennine Mountains. With its beautiful trail and spectacular views, it is a must-see for anyone visiting the region. The hike is classed as an 'easy/moderate' one, meaning anyone with an average fitness level can complete it. As you ascend, you'll be rewarded with sweeping panoramic views out over the green or snow-covered mountains and a plethora of wildflowers in the summer. The peak summit is an excellent place to sit and take in the views with a picnic. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as the hike is quite strenuous.
