Venetian Arsenal is an impressive industrial complex in Venice, Italy, built by the Republic of Venice from the 12th century. It was one of the largest shipyards in the world, covering over 100 acres. Today, the complex is home to the Venetian Naval Museum and the Historical Archives of the Most Serene Republic of Venice. The Arsenal is open to visitors and is a beautiful showcase of Venetian shipbuilding.
