Varda Viaduct, also known as "Alman Köprüsü" (German Bridge), is a stunning railway bridge in the lush landscape of Karaisalı, Adana, Türkiye. Built between 1905 and 1916 by German engineers as part of the Baghdad Railway, its architectural style harmonizes with the natural surroundings. This photogenic structure, made of stone and concrete, spans approximately 172 meters in length, with a height of about 98 meters. The striking arches and the dramatic backdrop of the Taurus Mountains provide captivating vistas. Ideal for golden hour photography, the viaduct contrasts beautifully against the sky when the sun is low.
