Valencia Cathedral, also known as Saint Mary's Cathedral, is a stunning Gothic-style cathedral located in the heart of València, Spain. It was built between the 13th and 15th centuries and is famous for its unique octagonal bell tower, known as El Micalet. The cathedral houses numerous treasures, including the holy chalice, believed to be the actual cup used by Jesus at the Last Supper. Visitors are also treated to beautiful frescoes, intricate chapels, and impressive religious sculptures. Important things to note for photo-travelers are that there is an admission fee, photography is not allowed inside the cathedral, and the best time to capture the exterior is during the golden hour as the sun sets. Additionally, make sure to dress modestly and be respectful of the cathedral's religious significance.
